(Your own costuming and interpretation of your character is encouraged, and may be totally different than presented. The next run will take place Memorial Day weekend 2011, and will include characters not described here.)

King Johan Feldra (Famous in Feldra)
“I must do what’s best for the Kingdom. I am nothing if not a king and a father.”
The undisputed ruler of the Kingdom of Feldra. Wielder of the enchanted Sword of Feldra. Johan has ruled for fifteen years, The first half of his reign was spent leading the Army of Feldra in an unsuccessful bid for conquest of the surrounding kingdoms. The remaining years have followed his struggle to repair his war-torn, plague-ridden, Dragon-ravaged country. King Johan has arranged the Ball to see his oldest daughter Li’enne married.

Princess Li’enne Feldra (Famous in Feldra)
“A pleasure to make your acquaintance. Why yes, thank you; I’d love to dance!”
King Johan’s oldest daughter, Princess Li’enne, is the reason for tonight’s Ball. Her beauty, poise, kindness, skills, and manners are all legendary, and she is often compared to her very popular mother, the late Queen Elisande. Her husband will be the next King of Feldra.

Princess Clarissa Feldra (Very well-known in Feldra)
“That’s the most idiotic idea I’ve heard all morning. Let me show you how it’s done.”
The middle child of King Feldra’s three daughters. A rather brash and impolite bookworm, Princess Clarissa often can be found in court advising her father, the King, on Feldran civil matters. She tends to provide practical, if often impersonal, solutions to the kingdom’s many problems.

Princess Gretchen Feldra (Very well-known in Feldra)
“Actually, a grizzly bear isn’t that hard to deal with, if you know how. Why, this one time…”
The youngest of King Johan’s three daughters. Her beauty her grace, and her kind heart are matched only by her rebellious nature. The princess carries a man’s weapon and is known to undertake heroic quests. Recently, she has been adventuring throughout the kingdom with a mysterious young man.

Leaf (Virtually unknown in Feldra)
“… hi.”
Little is known of the one called “Leaf”, other than that he is recognized as the constant companion of Princess Gretchen Feldra. He appears to be a simple, quiet, and kind young man.

Duchess Cecilia Garnet (Hardly recognized in Feldra)
“Greetings, good sir. Welcome to the Castle. Can I call a servant to get you anything?”
A loyal noblewoman who relocated to the castle after the death of her husband and five sons in the War. Later, after the untimely death of Feldra’s beloved Queen Elisande, the Duchess took over the duties of matron and hostess of the castle, playing surrogate mother to the three princesses and running the day to day affairs of Castle Feldra. Her personal loyalty to the royal family is extreme.

Captain Winnifred Ambrose (Moderately well-known in Feldra)
“We must uphold the honor of Feldra – with our lives, if necessary.”
Head of the Royal Feldran Guard and highest-ranking military officer in the kingdom of Feldra. Despite widespread misgivings over the unprecedented move to place a woman in this position, Captain Ambrose has developed a reputation for her polished soldiery and professional demeanor.

Morgromar (Famous in Feldra)
“Strong magicks brew this eve. I fear for the Kingdom.”
The Legendary Wizard is as old as Feldra itself, and possibly as powerful. All respect or fear him. He goes where he pleases. He mostly ignores the petty concerns of mortal men. It is understood that the good of Feldra is his main concern.

Keeper Bertrand Reese (Very well-known in Feldra)
“Perhaps we can try to maintain a sense of decorum in tonight’s activities.”
As the Keeper of the Feldran Traditions and Guardian of the Great Enchantments, Bertrand Reese is the single source of knowledge and power for the laws and traditions of the Kingdom of Feldra. The Great Enchantments are what uphold Feldra’s Ancient Laws, and it is the Keeper that knows and calls upon them. Reese is known to be a wise and fair judge for the people of Feldra.

Lily (Below notice)
“Yes, sir. Right away.”
Lily has been a servant in the castle for many years. She prefers to stay unnoticed and lend a hand where needed.

Count Geoffrey Grimm (Moderately well-known in Feldra)
“A ball, you say? A princess’s hand, you say? How positively… delightful.”
A successful merchant, and the noble in charge of Feldra’s most profitable trading ports. Count Grimm is exceptionally wealthy. He is known for his political savvy, his courageous philanthropic efforts to rehabilitate the kingdom, and his strong ambitions.

Lord Jason Prentiss (Famous in Feldra)
“My lord, I’m afraid I must respectfully disagree. Truly, it is the people themselves that should be considered ‘noble’.”
This handsome, well-spoken noble has been openly preaching eliminating the monarchy to make way for a new, revolutionary form of government called “democracy”. He is known for his keen wit, his skilled blade, and his dangerous ideas. He has attracted many followers of late.

Prince Reginald Escobar Bluestorm IV (Moderately well-known in Feldra)
“I’ll admit, I find this all so… fascinating.”
The second son of the King of Rydia. In addition to being a dashing specimen of foreign royalty, Prince Reginald is a well-respected sorcerer and professor at Rydia’s world-renowned University.

Captain Sir William, Duke of Garnet (Famous in Feldra)
“Honor isn’t just the words you speak, and it isn’t something you can own like a sword. It has to be something you live, something inside you. Anything less is just what others think of you.”
One of the legendary heroes of Feldran history, Sir William led the knights of Feldra to successfully defend the kingdom more than eight hundred years ago before mysteriously disappearing. For centuries, his story has inspired young Feldran men to become knights and heroes.
